Every year the Versiliana Foundation organizes its renowned Festival at the Versiliana Theater, an event that has characterized the Versilian summer for more than forty years with guests such as singers, comedians, theater companies and internationally renowned dancers.
The beautiful open-air theater that hosts the event is immersed in the tranquility of the well-known Versilian pine forest in Marina di Pietrasanta, a real green lung of the Versilian coast, which occupies an area of about 80 hectares and which with its evocative paths and its small river is truly a magical place where you can breathe the purest air while remaining less than 4 km from the historic center of Pietrasanta. The Versiliana Park is undoubtedly an important forest heritage for the entire Versilia area, which is home to numerous local species both from the point of view of flora and fauna.

Let's see which shows will characterize the 2022 Festival billboard.
First of all, there will be musicals. With two dates, 30 and 31 July, the very famous Mamma Mia! Will be staged in an entirely original Italian version of the famous musical based on ABBA songs signed by Massimo Romeo Piparo, winner of the 2018 Flaiano International Prize, with a exceptional cast of over 40 of the most established artists - among the various names we mention Luca Ward, Paolo Conicini, Sergio Muniz and Sabrina Marciano - and a magnificent live orchestra: "A spectacular and technological staging by PeepArrow Entertainment: thanks to a pontoon suspended over the water, revolving platforms, an inn with characteristic colors in shades of white and blue and bougainvillea waterfalls, you really get the impression of enjoying the beauty of an enchanting Greek island": a sight not to be missed!
In the program of the Festival there will be, as every year, comedians and stand-up comedians: this year a beloved and local guest, Giorgio Panariello, on August 14 will present his successful show entitled La Favola Mia: "Lots of laughs, a pinch of irreverence, topicality and the great classics of his repertoire: these will be the ingredients of this new show in which Panariello tells and tells himself, retracing the 20 years that have seen him as a protagonist in theater, cinema and television in an unprecedented and current guise ".
Acclaimed by the public, the most crackling news of this Festival will be the show on August 6 by Drusilla Foer who will perform in her cult recital entitled Eleganzissima Estate, written and interpreted by her: "A name, that of Madame Foer, that La Versiliana he has known well for some time for having hosted it with great success twice in the last few years. Even stronger after the Sanremo revelation, Drusilla accepted the invitation to return to the Versiliana stage for the third time and will do so, no doubt in grand style ".
On 2 and 3 August, after a few years of pause mainly caused by the pandemic, the MOMIX company directed by Moses Pendleton returns to the scene with Back to Momix, an electrifying show "born from the desire to return to tread the scene after difficult years that they removed the company from its audience, with the desire for lightness and lightheartedness". The dancers of the company will amaze the spectators as every time with acrobatics, transformations and exceptional numbers of illusionism that will undoubtedly leave you speechless.
And finally, three tribute bands still animate the Versiliana stage: on August 16 with Achtung Babies, the most famous U2 tribute band in the world, which boasts more than twenty years of experience in concerts and international tours, the August 22, Queen Mania in their homage to the most famous rock band of all time, in a show "where videos, music and fairy tales are intertwined in a crescendo of emotions", and finally the Pink Floyd Tribute Band which on August 19 will propose one show in support of the non-profit radiotherapy oncology foundation, together with Cesareo, guitarist of the Elio group and Le Storie Tese.
