From 7 to 9 October the wonderful historic center of Pietrasanta will host the exclusive "Libropolis" Publishing and Journalism festival: they will be three days full of events, debates, interviews with guests of excellence and international fame, in thirty appointments from do not miss dedicated to all book lovers.

The Festival, now in its sixth edition this year, is organized by the Libropolis Association in collaboration with the MAGOG group and GOG Edizioni, and obviously with the patronage of the Municipality of Pietrasanta.

Libropolis was born with the idea of ​​enhancing the work of small and medium-sized publishers, who shy away from the consumer dynamics of large publishing houses: "They are those small and medium-sized publishers who strive to enrich the Italian publishing landscape, who are committed to the search for new authors or in the rediscovery of forgotten classics, who propose and reinvent genres and languages, each with its own cultural offer within the book chain ”.

The title of this year's poster is "Reset-Year Zero"; explains Alessandro Mosti, president of the Libropolis Association, that the Festival this year will have a "revolutionary" format and with its numerous meetings will propose issues relating to current affairs, politics, national and international history: "We are convinced that the glossy world of culture should rediscover, as in the past, duels, polemics and debates, which should not pay attention to the popes of literature, to the mandarins of publishing, but rather be called upon to scare the untouchables ”.

The initiative's meetings will be held at the Sant'Agostino complex, overlooking the enchanting Piazza Duomo of Pietrasanta, home to art exhibitions, prestigious festivals and classical music concerts every year.
