Collectors Night a Pietrasanta, Estate 2022

Also this year the summer season in Pietrasanta will be characterized by the exclusive Collectors Night, the unmissable event organized by the art galleries of the historic center that are part of the ANGAMC, the national association of modern and contemporary art galleries. This year the event reaches its seventh edition to be held on Saturday 4 June and as every time it will be characterized by a path inside the various art galleries that dot the city center, starting from 18:00 until from 18:00 midnight.

The coordinator of the galleries Claudio Francesconi is pleased to present the Collectors Night again this year, anticipating the event by one month compared to past years, explaining that he organized the event in a quieter and less hectic period than in July, but while ensuring the continuity of the initiative. Galleries will participate in the evening, all by now established in the artistic panorama: “They are all historicized galleries that have many works from over 40 in the sector and are linked to tradition and continuous research; galleries opened by foreign collectors and lovers of beauty, who have become gallery owners who have brought different visions and interpretations of a universe that will never have its own code to be deciphered; but also galleries that turn their gaze to the black continent, which has so much to tell when we talk about art and culture. Everyone has their own specific project that will compose the mosaic of the versatility of the artistic situation, showing the trends and demands of the public between consolidated collecting and new forms of arrival in art "explains Alessio Musella, editor and art expert, speaking of the galleries associated with the ANGAMC.

The itinerary foreseen by the event will run through 10 galleries, will open their doors to collectors, tourists and who will have the opportunity to admire wonderful works of contemporary art. But let's see specifically the exhibitions that will be present:

At the Galleria Barbara Paci (via Garibaldi 45) it will be possible to see the personal exhibition of Massimilia Pelletti, a sculptor born and raised in Pietrasanta, who offers us a reinterpretation of classical art, with subjects inspired by the family plaster collection, in marble and not solo.

At the Futura Art Gallery (via Garibaldi 10) we will meet the exhibition entitled “Coexistence”, a project by Park Seung Wan, a young Korean sculptor.

Later, at the Galleria Deodato Arte (via Garibaldi 22) he shows the exhibition “Mr. Brainwash: street art in Pietrasanta” dedicated to the works of the world-famous street-artist Mr. Brainwash.

Galleria Giovanni Bonelli (Via Nazario Sauro 56), in collaboration with the LIS10 Gallery and The Project Space, presents “Once upon a time in West Africa”, curated by Alessandro Romanini, with works by ten African artists.

And again, continuing, the Galleria Poggiali (via Marconi 48) will offer the works of Fabio Viale, Roberto Barni and Goldschmired & Chiari.

The Galleria Susanna Orlando (via Stagio Stagi 12) instead exhibits the exhibition “WONDERWALL, a possible universe”, with paintings, drawings, sculptures and various objects from the everyday world transformed into works of art, in the representation of a very personal universe.

Marcorossi artecontemporanea (piazza Giordano Bruno 3) presents the exhibition of the artist Mirco Marchelli entitled "Tante bele cose", a truly innovative exhibition, especially from the point of view of the used.

Continuing towards the Galleria Paola Raffo Arte Contemporanea (via Barsanti 11) we will meet the beautiful collective exhibition, with works by Jørgen H. Sørensen, Antonino Bove and Andrea Berni, curated by Lorenzo Belli entitled “θάνατος αθάνατος – Solo la morte è immortale”. An exclusive preview of the documentary “Into the Night: Portraits of Life and Death” by Oscar nominated director Helen Whitney will be screened.

Continuing our journey to discover new styles and works, at Accesso Galleria (via del Marzocco 68-70) we will meet a combination of six international artists, Sabatino Cersosimo, David Deweerdt, Luca Moscariello, Alex Rane, Amber Sena and Tomas Watson, in the exhibition "VIII annual season opening".

Finally, last but not least, at the Galleria Tartarelli Laura Contemporary Art (via del Marzocco 58), which will present the exhibition of the very young Florentine artist Martin Lucchini, who nails through threads and creates very original paintings.

A real journey to discover innovative and unexplored artistic worlds and territories, to be discovered little by little. The Collectors Night is certainly an essential event for Pietrasanta, which, like every year, will bring an important influx of people to our beautiful town. Living in the historic center of Pietrasanta means living in a place where you can breathe art in every corner, discovering the numerous galleries that offer new and prestigious exhibitions that increase the artistic prestige that Little Athens has accumulated over the years.
